Paratus Privacy Policy
Paratus AI, Inc. (“Paratus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you:
- Visit our websites, including https://www.getparatus.com and any other sites that link to this Privacy Policy;
- Use Paratus demonstration or evaluation environments that we host; or
- Communicate with us, for example by email or through our contact forms.
This Privacy Policy does not replace any privacy or security terms that may be included in a separate written agreement between Paratus and a government, enterprise, or other institutional customer, or in system-specific notices applicable to a deployment operated on a government network. In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and such an agreement or notice, that agreement or notice will generally govern for that deployment.
By accessing or using our sites or demo environments, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Contact information.
When you submit a contact form, request a demo, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect information such as your name, rank or role, organization, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.
- Demo account information.
If we create a demo or evaluation account for you, we may collect your name (optional), email address, username, and a password or other authentication credential.
- Feedback and correspondence.
We may collect information you provide when you respond to surveys, provide feedback, or participate in product discussions with us.
Use of sensitive government information
The Paratus platform is engineered to support handling of sensitive information when it is deployed in an appropriately secured environment and when such use is authorized by the applicable mission owner, contracting authority, and/or Authorizing Official under a governing agreement or approval.
- For environments that have been expressly designated and approved by the mission owner or contracting authority to handle controlled information, your use of such information must comply with the applicable approval, contract, authorization package, and any system-specific privacy notices
- For our public marketing website and for any demo environment that has not been clearly identified to you by the mission owner or contracting authority as authorized to handle CUI or other controlled information, you should not submit classified information, CUI, PHI, Social Security numbers, or other mission-critical or sensitive operational data.
If you are unsure whether a particular Paratus environment has been approved to handle CUI or other controlled information, you should refrain from submitting such information, and instead consult your mission owner or contracting authority.
1.2 Information we collect automatically
When you visit our sites or use a demo environment, we may automatically collect:
- Log and usage data.
- This may include IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, date/time stamps, and interactions with our site or demo environment (such as features used and errors encountered).
- Device information.
- Such as device type, screen size, and other technical information provided by your browser or device.
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies (limited use)
We may use limited cookies or similar technologies in connection with:
- Basic site functionality and security (for example, to maintain a demo login session); and
- Analytics, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our site in the aggregate.
We do not use cookies or similar technologies for:
- Targeted or behavioral advertising; or
- Selling or sharing your information with advertisers.
You can typically configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies. If you disable cookies, some features of our website or demo environments may not function properly.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To operate and improve our website and demo environments.
Including providing access to demo accounts, maintaining security, diagnosing issues, and improving usability and performance.
- To respond to your requests.
For example, to respond to inquiries, schedule demos or meetings, and communicate about your evaluation of Paratus.
- To communicate with you: We may send you emails or other messages related to:
- Responses to your inquiries,
- Access information for demos,
- Important notices about security or availability, or
- Information you specifically request (such as follow-ups to a meeting).
- To analyze and improve our offerings.
We may analyze aggregated or de-identified usage data to understand how our website and demo environments are used and to inform product development.
- To comply with law and protect rights.
Including complying with applicable legal obligations, enforcing our agreements and policies, and protecting the security and integrity of our systems and the safety of our users.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
We may share personal information in the following limited circumstances:
3.1 Service providers
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:
- Website and infrastructure hosting;
- Email and communication tools;
- Customer relationship management tools;
- Analytics providers (e.g., website analytics).
We require these service providers to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately.
3.2 Business transfers
If Paratus is involved in a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality obligations and consistent with this Privacy Policy.

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

4. Where we store and process information
We currently host and process personal information collected under this Privacy Policy in the United States. We do not intentionally transfer this information to other countries.
If, in the future, we use service providers or infrastructure outside the United States, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate and take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal information.
5. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.
These safeguards include, as appropriate to the environment and data type:
- Encryption in transit;
- Access controls and authentication;
- Logging and monitoring of access to our systems;
- Secure development and deployment practices; and
- Periodic reviews of our security measures.
For environments intended to handle government data, Paratus is engineered to support implementation of controls consistent with applicable U.S. Department of Defense and NIST cybersecurity requirements (such as NIST SP 800-171). Demo environments and this public website are not authorized for CUI, PHI, or classified information, as noted above.
No security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by us. However, we strive to maintain safeguards consistent with the sensitivity and volume of the information we process.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide our website and demo environments;
- Respond to your requests and maintain our relationship with you;
- Comply with our legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations; and
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you for longer periods.

7. Your privacy rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information, subject to certain exceptions;
- Restrict or object to certain processing; and
- Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format where technically feasible.

7.1 California residents
To the extent Paratus is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA/CPRA”), California residents have the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to know and access.
To request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we disclose it.
- Right to delete.
To request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct.
To request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to data portability.
To receive certain information in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing.
To direct a business that sells or shares personal information to stop doing so.
Paratus does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
- Right to non-discrimination.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

We may maintain a separate California-specific notice with more detail; if so, that notice will supplement this Privacy Policy for California residents.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting that can signal websites that you do not wish to be tracked. There is currently no industry standard for recognizing or responding to DNT signals, and we do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
We do not engage in cross-site tracking for advertising purposes, and we do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities across different sites for targeted advertising through our services.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website and demo environments are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@getparatus.com. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. Third-party websites and services
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by Paratus. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or security.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites or services you visit.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice (such as by posting a prominent notice on our website).
Your continued use of our website or demo environments after any changes have taken effect signifies your acknowledgment of the updated Privacy Policy.
